The Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 toward an air source heat pump install for most Essex homes on mains gas. If your property is off the gas grid and runs on oil or LPG, a temporary uplift takes that to £9,000 on applications made between 21 July 2026 and 31 March 2027.
